How long have you been in business?
The publication was founded in 1976 as Discover Mid-America in basically Clay County, MO and has evolved into a regional publication (name change to Discover Vintage America in 2010) distributed in 8 to 9 states.
What is your primary product or service?
We deliver news and promotional support via print and web on the antiques, collectibles, craft and historic tourism trade and industry to those that deliver and provide such services.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My background is in journalism and saw an opportunity to continue in that profession.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We a niche publication primarily servicing businesses that deliver a product to a group of interested consumers.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location with distribution through some 450 outlets.
