Kansas City Rescue Mission offers relief, recovery and reentry services for homeless men and women.
KCRM provides food, shelter, healthcare, case management, addiction recovery programs, spiritual guidance and more to an average 150 men and women daily. We choose not to receive government assistance and are, instead, accountable to our donors — individuals and private foundations, churches, corporations and civic-minded groups. The Mission was founded in 1950 and recently established the KCRM Women's Center, focusing on the unique needs of single, homeless women with co-occurring disorders. All of our services, including residential, are at no charge to our homeless clients. We are a Christian ministry and welcome anyone regardless of gender, religion, creed or lifestyle choices.
